Why hello there people of the internet :) :)
How are you all? Not that I'm going to get a response but I'm being polite. Regarding Davids previous post if you add me on facebook I wont add you back, sorry guys but I'd rather not have some creeper taking my photos. Not that you guys are creepers, but you can't be too sure. I mean it's endearing that you guys would want to add me but no.
Anywho the whole moving business has been quite the experience, I've taken alot of piccys which I shall upload sometime when I can be bothered. People at my new school seem quite alright, gone to some parties and stuff me being the hardcore raver that I am.
I'm so obsessed with this one song at the moment, not the type of song I'd normally be into but it's so damn catchy.

Ok so its sunday afternoon here and ofcourse like just about every single teenager that has ever walked this earth I'm procrastinating on my homework, which isnt really a lot and I could have finished it about 3 hours ago instead of using facebook :P oh ya add me or tabby on facebook the links are on the side of this page somewhere but just in case search: Shaniqua Tyrelle, thats me David i know wtf shut up. So ya anyway my decison, ive decided to use this a little bit like a journal that I will regularly update with info, pictures, videos and shit like that :P yaaaa i know that you're excited. I've decided to this because it has been in my mind for a while know and I realized that it can help people stay intrested and regularly check back on this. I know Olivepoo on youtube hasnt really been delivering much since like march or december I don't remember but its because I have been really busy with the IB program and Tabby.., well she moved to China and you know finding a house, new school, making friends all that crap. Ya ok so anyway...oh Im broke right now and have no idea how im gonna pay for new dvds, cds or mangas but I will find a way. I decided to talk about my favorite manga i decided this right now as I was writing.

Ok so the manga I am currently reading are : Fairytail,MPD Psycho,Tsubasa and xxxHolic. They are all very good but Tsubasa didnt really atract me at first I had to get into to it. I like how xxxHolic and Tsubasa are connected with themselves and other CLAMP series very intresting and it does it in a non confusing way, seriously.
If there are people out there reading this comment writing about your favorite manga/s, im always looking for new ones to read.

Its Been a While. (Summer,Movies,School and Life)

It sure has been a while since either me or Tabby has posted anything. Does anybody even care..is anybody even reading this, if you are let me know somehow, except on twitter...cant be bothered.

What have I been doing?
In my last post I said that I would have gone to Italy and that is exactly what I did. I went to visit Venice,Rome,Parma,Bologna and Milan and yes Rome did include the Vatican although its another country but you already knew that didnt you, you smart ass. Anyyyyway so all these trips were day trips except Rome cus u got a shit load to see and we didnt even see everything. We went to all these locations by train which i absolouuuutely love, god i love taking the train, especially with friends. Oh ya on the train coming back from Rome this lady got on the train to help her mother but the doors closed and the train started leaving so she started screaming and cried for about the 1 n a 1/2 hours it took to get to Florence anyyyyway. The whole summer was just kick ass and I hope (although it'll be hard) that next summer will be just as kick ass.
Ok so I missed like the first 2 weeks of school which..eh wtv. Anyway so i got back to Bangkok and started IB..its..ok I had actually thought that it would have been sooo much harder but its actually ok, I mena i have a shit load of work but if I organize myself it works. Oh I moved out of my house and am currently staying in a apartment on Sukumvit(the central/main downtown road) but its just temporary until we find an apartment we like.
FUCK! I got this little sharp thing in my throat and i just cant fucking get it out ARGH its annoying me so fucking much! It always seems to have disappeared and then I swallow a third time and the bitch is back.
Oh btw I watched like 4 movies this week at the theaters and they were all really fucking good, one that I really did not expect to be good was 'Bandslam' but I'm proud to say that it was really good. Then i watched '9' which so fucking good damn what good animated movie that was. After that I watched Transformers 2..in IMAX of course and theeeen today I watched 'Inglourious Basterds' which was just amazing.
Ok so I have no idea on how much i wrote, oh ya I almost forgot ill put some pictures of summer pretty soon but ill put up a link of a video Courtney(Hardcoreehh, if you remember I told you she joined me in Italy) made with photos and videos, yes that dork playing wii is me :P but shut up it was fun :D

My Summer Thus Far :D

I jsut read Tabby's post and felt guilty :D so im going to write something.
Ok so my summer so far.
I finished school a week earlier than my class mates so i missed my MYP graudation but I don't really give a fuck :).
I arrived in Italy on the 4th of June and spent about 5 days there (I live in the north in a small town near Reggio Emilia...go ahead stalk me). Anyway i met all my friends which i had not seen since christmas and some even as long as last summer.
I left on on the 9th and came to Canada to stay with the other half of my family WEEE. My friend was supposed to come along but my grandma has Parkinson's now so cannot cannot. Annnnywaaay I arrived and from the first day I couldn't stand my cousin anymore. She is 9 'n a 1/2 years old is kinda spoiled and acts like a royal pain in the *:)*, she just whiiines all day loong and thats it. She has two (that i know) cousins that are my age but i only met them about twice. Last week i went up north to my Aunt's sisters cottage and spent the day with my cousin's cousins.
I thought i knew what kind of people they were even though i never really hung out with them. WRONGGGGG!!!
They were friggin stoner pot-heads. One of em just got his license and drove me and his cousin into town to meet some his friends. First thing he tells her (his cousin) as soon as we get in the car is "I got my bong in the back..hehehe" I just sink into the backseat and pray :D. The rest of the day i was following them like a little bitch cus i had nothing to do. All they talked about was bad "trips", her pissing on the front porch and innuendos for alcohol or drugs. FUUUUN....cough.
Anyway THANK GOD I'm leaving this afternoon at 5 and going back to Italy where Courtney (Hardcoreehh on youtube) is come visit me and we are gonna travel around Italy WEEEEE.
I'll put up some pictures of the canada trip when I can for now its just these photos that I didnt even take so deal with it bitch.

Shanghai

Heya peeps! Remember how I said in my last post I have big news? Well it's official *cue drum roll here*, I'm moving to Shanghai!!! Nope this is not a joke I'm dead serious! I'm not particularly sad about leaving Singapore it's more about the school and my friends who I'll miss. Ufff I'm going to miss everyone so much!!! I've only been to Shanghai once before a few years ago, from what I remember it was cold (YAY SEASONS!!!) and I quite liked it, although the traffic was CRAZY!

On a less sad note, I'll be getting my holga film developed on Wednesday so I should have it ready to upload on Friday! Oh and it will be exciting taking photos around Shanghai!

Oh...and blogspot is banned there so dont expect very many updates. Buttt whenever I'm in another country I'll write a nice long sentence, or I'll send David an e-mail and he can copy and paste what I want to say ^_^

If anyone has any advice on Shanghai just leave a comment!

HOLGA

Hey guys sorry I haven't been blogging much I've just been real busy cause I have exams on Wednesday :S
So freaking nervous and stressed EEK
Although due to my huge amount of revision my wonderful mother got me a Holga CMY!
What is a holga? You might ask. Well a Holga is a lomographic camera which was made in the early 80's as a toy but many people use it as a proper camera! It is almost completely made from plastic including its lens which gives a really nice dreamy effect to photos! You can take multiple exposures and it has a colour flash. The colours on the flash include, White (normal), Blue, Yellow and Red!
So far I've taken 6 photos, I used the blue colourflash to take a photo of my beautiful Zoe but I think I took an accidental double exposure lol :P
Once I get them developed I'll post em up =D

t.A.T.u. RANT + Is David Making a DEMO :O?? XD

David is in da hood :D...no.yuck...forget that.
ok anyway, I don't have much homework during this period as exams are approaching and we are just told to study and revise.
..yeah right.
Anyway nothing really big in the news except that pain in the ass of PORK FLU...thats right..PORK FLU, but that seems to be slowing down too so thats good. If it doesnt I won't be able to go to Toronto and see my family Sigh...
Anyway so I had kind of forgotten about the "latest" (Octoboer '08) album released by t.A.T.u. its my favorite so far and it inspired to try to to make an album. My friend writes extremely good lyrics and our drama teacher has his own recording studio in his house and he's amazing so we are hoping he'll help us.
Anyway t.A.T.u. is just the most amazing band ever,apart from their first album, they have self-produced albums without any big name producers or help , except Sting playing Bass on "Friend or Foe". Even without all this they are still able to make better music then most of the crap that is out today.
Anyway a bit more about the album...(yes I know this post isn't very organized), so yeah the album is probably gonna be electronica with some guitars and piano thrown here and there, simple but effective lyrics. Actually it wont just be electronica, songs are varying from dancy, to chill out to electro-rock. Still everything is COMPLETELY rough and I cant even upload snippets from how crappy our stuff is.
I am not singing in it, well here and there but im not the lead, and I don't play instruments either, just some here and there. So i don't really know what my role is, other than it was all my idea and I'm kinda supervising the whole thing.

ok heres the backstory to this :P
This summer my friend will take her first trip to Europe by visiting me in Italy.
As you can imagine she is very excited as she will get to spend time with me (:D)..JK,JK.
She will get to visit Italy and I'm excited too as I'll get to visit my own country as I never have before and plus she'll be there with me so it will be great fun.
I wish Tabby could come too but this F***ING economy affects everybody, even I have to take a shitty airline :( .
Anyway.
I was looking for some energetic Italian song to get my friend excited about this trip, and like magic I turn on Rainternational (the italian channel :P) and this song is playing, I rush to Youtube and listen to it.
I sent it to her and DAMN this is song is so catchy I can't get it out of my head, and I bet her too.
Ok lol the song is called "La Notte Vola" its sung by Lorella Cuccarini, the song was the theme for an Italian variety show back in the mid/late 80's called Odiense.
The song became a reasonable hit but it rose to fame in recent years, and its well known by mostly any Italian.
There is an english version called "Magic" but its not as good trust me, like my friend said its the same case as 99 Luftbaloons the english version is horrible.
The song is very 80's and very dancy, I bet anything you can't stand still while listening to this song.
Yeah the song is pretty gay, but come on...:P

Eww it's school tomorow :(
I hate school, I'd much rather be on holidays for another week. It wouldn't be so bad if we didn't have homework I mean our parents pay loads of money for these people to teach us, they shouldn't have to set homework if the education system is so freaking great. Then there's exams which totally suck ass, with all the wobbly tables, people coughing and it's always so hot in there!

On a lighter note I might be getting a Guinea Pig :D I can't wait!!! We're going to get one from the SPCA since it's a kind thing to do rather than buying from an overpriced shop.

A Very Long Engagement

OMG this movie is the shiznizz!

Please people don't be put off by the title and picture in the poster.
I know this movie is like 5 years old now, but I had never seen it and wished I had.

The basic premise is that a young couple is separated by war and the girl,Mathilde (Played by the amazing Audrey Tautou) learns of her lovers death. Although its written on paper she doesnt believe it and keeps searching for the truth asking favors and interrogating all over.
The movie can be very graphic in some scenes(Rated: R) both with sex and gore but its still good entertainment.
This is from the same director of "Amelie" and in a lot of scenes you can see a resemblance with that movie.
I was very surprised by the addition of Jodie Foster to the cast. She plays quite an important role, she wasnt mentioned in the poster or at the back of the DVD so it was a pleasent surprise.

Anyway go rent or buy this movie. Its really good :D

Songkran Celebration Deaths vs Natural Disaster Deaths

WTF!

During the Songkran Celebrations(Thai New Year, they throw water at each other for 3 days) here in Thailand, about 220 people died from drunk-driving, diseases from the water or injuries.
BTW only 2 people died in the Thai protests for whicht he goverment issued a state of emergency.

Now in Aquila,Italy, where the earthquake hit on the 6th of April about 295 people died.

WTF?
Almost just as many people died while having fun than by houses collapsing onto them?
Do people know when enough is enough?

The story says that an American Blogger in Saudi Arabia bought the CD as a gift for her son.

Talking about Katy Perry's Censorship, i just bought the CD about a week ago and found out that the lyric "jackin' off while listening to Mozart" in the song "Ur So Gay" has been censored well just the word "jackin" ....wtf. Is this only here in Thailand or has that lyric been censored everywhere?

Unecesary "Cleaning"

I hate when parents or cleaners try to "clean" your room and either break stuff, move stuff or touch something they shouldn't have.
Like for example the cleaner I've had here for about 6 months.
I had this huge poster that had fallen off the wall ,while i was on a holiday break, because the room was so hot that the bluetac dried up. When i came back i saw that because of the humidity the poster had rolled up again. Annoyed by this I just decided to lay it on the floor and put weight at the edges and the centre to kinda "straighten" it.

Booooooooy was I stupid!
I come back from school and i find my post on my bed FOLDED UP ABOUT 8 TIMES!!
